Uplift Fund – Benefiting lives during COVID-19

31 August 2021 marks the last day of the Uplift Fund. Since establishing this meaningful fund with Park Hotel Group one year ago, we have raised over S$850,000 and helped over 1,090 recipients through the challenging period.

The aim of the Uplift Fund is to provide financial relief for the Singapore community during the pandemic. It was also the first of such fund to prioritise affected workforce in the Hospitality and Food & Beverage sectors. Close to 30% of the beneficiaries fall in this industry and many of whom used the support on necessities such as food and medication.

The YMCA of Singapore and Park Hotel Group would like to express our most sincere appreciation to the partners and applicants who had reached out to us. Because of you, we could make a significant difference to the community and uplift the lives of those in need.

The YMCA of Singapore engages in various community outreach efforts all year round. With a focus on youth empowerment, our signature programmes engage youth-at-risk, youth with special needs, and youth volunteers through arts, sports, community service, and vocational training to become effective and independent contributors to an inclusive society.
