YMCA Proms 2019
Every year, hundreds of corporate volunteers come together for the YMCA Proms 2019, a fun-filled carnival for persons with special needs. They come together to show our special needs friends that they care, and to raise awareness of persons with special needs as well as celebrate what they can do instead of dwelling on what they cannot.
At this year’s YMCA Proms, corporate volunteers will get to bond with some 500 special needs friends over a host of interesting performances and exciting carnival activities.
This year will be extra special because we will be having a Makers’ Market for the first time. Our special needs friends will be empowered to showcase their skills and put their creations on sale. All profits go to the makers’ respective organisations.
We want you to be a part of this great celebration of inclusiveness. We want you to experience the joy of connecting with our special needs friends and help create a more caring Singapore.

HERE’S HOW YOUR ORGANISATION CAN JOIN IN:
1) Mobilise a team of volunteers to befriend our special needs clients
Enjoy a day at the beautiful Gardens by the Bay befriending our special needs clients with colourful personalities! Not only is this a fun way to do good, it is also a precious opportunity to learn about their special talents and perseverance in the face of unique life challenges.
2) Make a cash donation
Your contribution will go a long way in touching the lives of clients and volunteers, making this event the best it can be and a memorable experience for them. Your actions may inspire our 11,000 social media followers to support social causes as well!
3) Showcase your products and services
Support the less privileged and be recognised for doing so! Grow your brand awareness at our event at Gardens by the Bay, one of Singapore’s most popular places of interest that garner more than 12 million visitors a year. Prior to the event, your brand will also be showcased on our website, social media and to our e-mail database, reaching over 30,000 people.
