Congratulations to Mr. Eric Teng and Mr. Edward Ong on Their Successful Elections!
YMCA of Singapore would like to extend our warmest congratulations to two of our esteemed leaders on their successful elections in 2024.
Mr. Eric Teng – President, National Council of YMCAs of Singapore
Mr. Eric Teng has been successfully elected as the President of the National Council of YMCAs of Singapore in June 2024.
A long-serving member of the YMCA family, Mr Teng has held numerous leadership roles across various social service and charity organisations in Singapore, including the National Council of Social Service. His commitment to the YMCA of Singapore spans decades, during which he served as President on two occasions (2005-2009 and 2016-2017). The YMCA of Singapore and social service sector had gained much from his leadership and deep experience.
Mr. Edward Ong – International President Elect, 2024-25, Y’s Men International
Mr. Edward Ong has been elected as the International President Elect, 2024 – 2025, Y’s Men International.
Mr Ong’s extensive background with the YMCA includes serving as General Secretary of YMCA of Singapore and holding leadership roles in Y’s Men International. As an active member of the Y’s Men’s Club of Singapore Alpha Chapter since 1980, Mr Ong has dedicated himself to social service initiatives such as supporting education for street children and organising outings for the elderly.
As Mr Teng and Mr Ong assume their roles, we are confident that their visionary leadership will continue to inspire positive change and guide their organisations to greater heights.
