Celebrating Our Volunteers – YMCA-Lim Kim San Volunteer Awards Night 2021
Volunteers are the bedrock of any community service initiative. On 17 Dec 2021, the YMCA of Singapore celebrated the achievements of some outstanding volunteers at the annual YMCA-Lim Kim San Volunteer Awards Night 2021.
We were honoured to have MOS Sun Xueling join us. She delivered a heart-warming speech to encourage and show appreciation to volunteers. Their dedication and perseverance during the COVID-19 pandemic has been especially moving.
“The pandemic has brought out the best in Singaporeans and shown that we have not been deterred to give our best to others. The YMCA-Lim Kim San Volunteers Programme has exemplified this,” she said.
The event included fun games conducted with group of volunteers and featured performances by guest performers with special needs from Faith Music Centre.
We thank all volunteers for their giving spirits and for joining us in uplifting the lives of those in need!
