Mr Zed Teo Zi Ming

Zed Teo is Police officer with the Singapore Police Force. He is currently the Deputy Commander of Woodlands Division. He has also served as Commanding Officer of Toa Payoh Neighbourhood Police Centre and as Special Assistant to the Minister for Home Affairs. 

Zed holds a BSc (First Class Honours) in Physics from Imperial College London, an MPP from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore and an MBA and MA in International Studies from the University of Pennsylvania. 

Zed started volunteering with the YMCA in 2001. In 2005, he helped to conceptualise and launch Uni-Y at the Singapore Management University. He was first elected to the YMCA Board in 2010 and has since chaired several YMCA committees, including the Programmes Committee, the Youth and Volunteer Development Committee and the Christian Development Committee. Zed has also served as a volunteer officer with the Boys’ Brigade at Boon Lay Secondary School.
