Steven has over two decades of experience in the media industry. He started as an Assistant Producer at ESPN STAR SPORTS and over the years worked his way up to his current role as Presenter/ Senior Editor at Channel NewsAsia. Steven currently helms the programme Talking Point – a weekly programme that looks at the hottest issues in Singapore, and is best known for his 8 years on AM LIVE! One of Channel NewsAsia’s highest rated shows which aired every weekday morning. He is well sought after as an emcee and conference moderator, and has hosted many conferences for government and corporate agencies.

In addition to serving in the YMCA Board, Steven is also a District Councilor for the Southwest Community Development Council and a member of the NUS Communications and New Media Industry Advisory council. He has also been on the advisory board for Marriage Central under the Ministry of Social and Family Development and a Council Member of the National Youth Council. He is also adjunct lecturer at several local polytechnics.
