Orientation & Training

At YMCA, we conduct bi-monthly Volunteer Recruitment Talks for all potential and new volunteers. Volunteers will be introduced to the wide range of volunteering opportunities at YMCA during the orientation. For those interested in volunteering, this is a good chance for you to explore if you would like to join us in making a difference in the lives of others, and at the same time to enrich your own life. The Volunteers’ Orientation is held on the last Wednesday of every odd month, the dates of the Volunteer Recruitment Talks for this year are as follows :

1. 21 January 2009
2. 25 March 2009
3. 27 May 2009
4. 29 July 2009
5. 30 September 2009
6. 25 November 2009

Time: 7.30pm – 8.30pm (Registration starts at 7.00pm)
Venue: YMCA Building, Level 4 Robert C K Loh Boardroom

Training Details

At YMCA, we are always looking to enrich the skill sets of our volunteers. We offer 4 training programmes for our volunteers each year. In this year 2008, we have the following training programmes upcoming:
