Volunteer with YMCA Flag Day on 26 March 2011 |
Be a volunteer and sell flags during the upcoming YMCA Flag Day on 26 March 2011.
All funds raised will go towards funding 17 structured and sustained YMCA Community Service Programmes that reach out to over 2,000 intellectually, mentally and physically challenged, out-of-school youth and youth-at-risk, abused and underprivileged children, the elderly and the poor in 34 partnering voluntary welfare organisations and self-help groups.

On 2 February 2011, YMCA School organised a Chinese New Year lunch and concert for students who did not travel home abroad for their family reunion during the holidays. Held annually, the celebration featured performances by various students and a buffet lunch catered by Y Café. [Read more]

YMCA co-organised 3rd Annual Chinese Calligraphy Competition |
YMCA co-organised the 3rd annual National Youth Chinese Calligraphy Competition themed ‘Harmony” with the National University of Singapore (NUS) Chinese Calligraphy Society on 29 January 2011 at the YMCA Lee Kong Chian Auditorium. The annual competition was organised to promote the appreciation of traditional Chinese culture, which is embodied in the perennial art of Chinese calligraphy, among youths in Singapore.
