YMCA Opera Treats

Following the success of the inaugural YMCA Day @ the Opera on 17 August 2009, YMCA is organizing a series of four YMCA Opera Treats in collaboration with the Queenstown Community Center Senior Citizen's Committee Cantonese Opera Troupe in 2010. Scheduled for 20 March, 7 May, 18 September and 4 December 2010, the events will be held at the YMCA Auditorium and Queenstown Community Club. YMCA Opera Treats is an intergenerational programme that aims to provide the needy elderly with a nostalgic and entertaining opera show and engaging young volunteers to befriend and bring cheer to the beneficiaries from various Homes and Senior Activity Centers across our nation. Date: Saturday, 20 March 2010 We are recruiting volunteers to help out at the event as ushers, befrienders, photographers and more.
