YMCA-Lim Kim San Volunteers Programme
Introduced in 2007, the key thrusts of the YMCA-Lim Kim San Volunteers Programme are the training and development of volunteers and promoting of Corporate Volunteerism.
Regular training and development programmes, such as the YMCA-NUS Business School Volunteer Service Management Programme, YMCA Volunteer Leaders’ Training Camp and the
YMCA Leadership and Management Programme (LAMP) are conducted with the help of training professionals and industry experts. Through these programmes, volunteers are equipped with skills in effective communication, leadership, marketing, events management, safety management, volunteer management and more to drive the various local and overseas YMCA community service programmes.
In the process of active corporate engagement, YMCA of Singapore also provides platforms such as the YMCA Proms @ the Park for corporations to engage in Corporate Social Responsibility, facilitating sustainable community partnerships to be formed with the various VWOs and engaging corporate staff to be involved in serving the community in a meaningful way.
