Supervisor, Student Care Centre

Job Description:

·          Be overall responsible for the smooth operation of the Centre, and in meeting the student enrolment targets and profit goals.

·          Provide guidance and leading a team in coaching the primary school students in subjects i.e. English, Maths, Science and Chinese (P1 – P6).

·          Report to management on student enrolment, expense, manpower and training.

·          Responsible for preparing course objectives and outline for course of study following curriculum guidelines or requirements of government.

·          Perform classroom-teaching duties during the absence of regular teacher.

·          Confer with teaching staff regarding children behavioural or learning problems, and recommends methods of modifying inappropriate beahaviour and encouraging learning experiences.

·          Confer with parents regarding facility activities, policies and enrolment procedures.

·          Counsel and discuss the children’s academic and behavioural attitude and achievement with parents.

Job Requirements:

·          Certificate/Diploma/ Degree in Education or related discipline.

·          At least 2 years of experience in school based teaching capacity.

·          Proficient in MS Office applications.

·          Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of people.

·          An innovative team player, mature, independent, creative, good leadership and organizational skills and versatile in performing tasks.

·          You must have the patience, love and passion for teaching and nurturing the young children.

·          Conversant in both English and Mandarin preferred.

·          Part Timers – able to commit at least 4 to 6 hours in either morning or afternoon
