You are responsible for teaching and developing children in academic, social, personal hygiene, music, art and motor skills to promote students’ physical, mental and social development.
You will be responsible for the preparation of the classroom environment including pre-activity set up. Ensure the classroom materials are in superior quality and adequate supply. You will be required to prepare course objectives and outline for course of study following curriculum guidelines or requirements of government. Assign daily lessons and schoolwork, prepare, administer, correct tests and records results.
Requirements:
Child Development Centre:
· Minimum 5 ‘O’ Levels with a B4 in English DECCE (Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education – Teaching)/DECCEL (Leadership) qualifications for senior teacher position
· At least 2-3 years relevant experience in a preschool setting
· Those about to complete their DECCE (T)/DECCE (L) may apply
· Excellent communication skills (both oral and written), interpersonal skills with flexibility to work with various age groups
· First Aid Trained will be an advantage
· An innovative team player that is dynamic, self-motivated, pro-active, mature and results oriented with the determination to succeed
· Suitable candidates will be sent for training on how to provide an environment which is safe, entertaining and supportive of learning
Student Care Centre:
· GCE ‘O’ Levels or equivalent
· At least 1 year working experience, preferably as a private tutor at a tuition centre
· Excellent communication skills (both oral and written), interpersonal skills with flexibility to work with various age groups
· First Aid Trained will be an advantage
