Teacher/ Assistant Teacher, Child Development Centre

Job Description:

·          Responsible for teaching and developing children (18 months to 6 years old) in academic, social, personal hygiene, music, art and motor skills to promote students’ physical, mental and social development.

·          Demonstrate and use audio-visual teaching aids to present subject matter to class.

·          Foster social behaviour through games and group projects to assist children in forming satisfying relationships with other children and adults.

·          Implement creative ideas, activities and stimulating lessons to involve the children in the classroom.

·          Prepare, administer and correct daily lessons.

·          Ensure the safety and well being of each individual child in the classroom and playground.

Job Requirements:

·          GCE “O”/ “A” Level, Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree in Early Childhood Education (DPE-T/L) or related discipline.

·          At least 1 year of experience in pre-school teaching capacity preferred.

·          Early childhood education trained personnel preferred.

·          Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of people.

·          An innovative team player, mature, independent, creative and good organizational skills.

·          You must have the patience, love and passion for teaching and nurturing the young children.

·          Proficient in MS Office applications.

·          Required to undergo First Aid Training.

·          Conversant in both English and Mandarin preferred

·          Part Timers – able to commit at least 4 to 6 hours in either morning or afternoon
